Andy grew up in New Zealand. Fast forward to now, he has cooked in some great restaurants in Auckland, London, Sydney and Melbourne. He also spent time in the business-side of hospitality, managing restaurants, cafes and bars in airports and mucking around with great Australian beef and lamb in a test kitchen.

Sofia Levin

Sofia Levin is a celebrated Melbourne-based journalist and host who’s been writing about food since 2013, for Broadsheet, Lonely Planet, the Guardian, the Age and other publications.
In March 2021 Levin launched The Seasoned Traveller, a website and newsletter that celebrates cultural diversity through food and encourages readers to #eatcuriously. She’s also appeared on TV shows like Postcards and The Cook Up with Adam Liaw (and in a few Broadsheet videos).

Mary’s Kouzina

Mary Politis is the woman behind the popular food blog  Mary’s Kouzina. Mary teaches people how to make home Greek style food, with recipes inspired by her mother and grandmother; showcasing her family recipes to the world.
Her aim is to reintroduce and preserve traditional Greek cuisine by encouraging people to go back to their Greek roots and incorporate it back into their daily diets.

Matt David Johnson is an independent Canadian filmmaker and entrepreneur with a diverse background spanning multiple industries. He’s worked as a cinema manager and projectionist, a host for network television, and has written and produced several web-series and short films. Julia Busuttil Nishimura is a Melbourne-based cook, author and teacher. Her work celebrates simple ingredients, seasonal produce and the joys of coming together at the table. Julia’s cooking is influenced by her Maltese upbringing and by her time spent living in Tuscany, where she first learned the joys of the Italian kitchen. She is a regular contributor to publications such as Good Food, Country Style magazine, The Design Files and ABC Life. Her much-awaited second book, A Year of Simple Family Food, was published in 2020.

Vikki Moursellas

Helena and Vikki Moursellas are identical twins born in Adelaide, South Australia. They learned how to cook from their Greek grandmother, Koula, and grew up with a passion and love for Greek cuisine. Finalists on Australian TV show My Kitchen Rules, the twins won the hearts of the nation with their Greek family food.
They have spent the last ten years working in the food industry in Sydney and currently work in publishing.

Mindy Woods

Mindy Woods is a chef, restaurateur and proud Bundjalung woman of the Widjabul Wia-bul clan.
You might recognise her as a finalist from MasterChef Australia in 2012 and this year returned on the fans and favourite series. She is the owner of Karkalla restaurant in Byron Bay. Featuring locally-sourced seasonal produce and native ingredients, Karkalla is a nod to Mindy’s indigenous heritage and allows her to help both indigenous and non-indigenous people to connect with Aboriginal culture, art and stories through food.
